Mac Ritchie Reservoir.

Spent one of my Sunday evenings with momsie & Doudou at Mac Ritchie. We were just in time for the sunset & it was a beauty! It really amazes me how great our God is. His creations are unbelievably magnificent!  I had a awesome time spent w momsie (: Just walking Doudou & talking to each other. I rly love days like these.. Where i am in a quiet place, surrounded by mother nature (:

Firstly, meet the birthday boy, who recently turned 20! Unbelievable i know.. Lol.

Anw, & here's a brief visual tour on the cafe we had dinner at, Full House Cafe. Very nicely decorated & the food was alright. Acceptable.

Their drinks are served in huge jars! Which i think are rly cool! & It's pretty huge though.

Rosella Spaghetti.
"Spaghetti tossed in tomato coulis with prawns." I had this dish, it was not bad.

Seafood Spaghetti. (Olive oil base)
This dish needs no explanation! The pic & title of the dish says it all.

Al Funghi Spaghetti.
"Sautéed spaghetti with oyster mushrooms & chicken broth."

Overall, my friends said the food was not that great, but average. Personally, i find it alright. I liked the decor more though. Lol.

Rainbow cake

I used square baking tins & cut em into circles after it was baked.




After the whole process which took awhile... Here's the outcome of the cake! (:

A secondary school friend messaged me through fb, asking if i could bake a rainbow cake for her friend's birthday. I turned her down initially cause the time given was too short plus i had no confidence. I've never baked a rainbow cake before! Furthermore, i didn't want to disappoint her & the friends. Well, in the end i baked the cake w some help from my colleagues. The cake was too huge to fit the cake box! Felt so bad tt she had to carry the huge box! Hope the taste was acceptable.

Have def learnt a lot from my first rainbow cake baking experience! Gna try agn someday to improve mah skills!

Nutella Cupcakes

Easy steps on making a cupcake, with everyone's favourite flavour- NUTELLA! (:

Cupcake recipe:

3 1/4 cup Cake flour, sifted
4 1/2 Tspn Baking powder
1/4 Tspn salt
*Combine the above in a bowl*

1 Tbspn Vanilla extract
1 Cup Milk
*Combine the 2 ingredients above in another bowl*

1/2 cup + 6 Tbspn unsalted butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
5 Large Egg whites, room temp

1. Whisk the egg whites till stiff peaks form, & set aside. (Be careful not to overmix!)
2. Using an electric whisk, cream butter & sugar in a mixing bowl till it's light and fluffy.
3. Add in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder & salt), alternating with the wet ingredients(milk & vanilla extract).
4. Fold in the egg whites into the batter using a spatula until it is well combined. 
5. Fill up the batter till it reaches 3/4 of the cupcake casings & bake at 180C for 20mins.

How to tell when the cupcakes are cooked?

Insert a toothpick into the cupcake & if it comes out clean, it is done! (:

Using a melon baller, scoop out the middle of the cupcake & set it aside. (Do not throw it away!) 

Scoop a small tspn of nutella into the middle.

Cover the hole filled w nutella filling w the part u scooped out.

Spread w more nutella goodness & you're 3/4 done! (:

The rest wld be up to your imagination on how u wanna decorate the cupcake! (:

 Fav floral romper for now (: I loveeee the flare out sleeves. The floral details in the romper is simply gorgeous. Will prolly wear it to death. Plus its so comfortable. Best buy i've ever got online (: It's a self-manufactured piece by Eating Zombie!
 

Spent my off day gng ard Singapore. Exploring the places tt are tucked away so deep, but yet when u get to it, it makes u wanna jump out of ur seat & run ard like a lil kid filled w full on energy. I've always loved places like these. They make me happy, idk why, but the atmosphere is completely different from the normal places we always go to. So quiet & green.

Oh & ntm, i love horses. They look so beautiful. Wld kill to ride one again someday (:

I loveeeee this crochet maxi by Vaingloriousyou! (: I wore it was a skirt instead of a dress! Here's how i wore it..


It looks great as a maxi skirt too right?! Anw, i paired it with the denim bralet by Twist Polka. Folded the top of the dress & tucked it neatly under the bralet! (:

One of my fav online shopping site wld def be Twist Polka. In most of their collections, there's always smthing in their collections tt wld catch my attention!
