The sulphur smell was soooo darn strong i cldnt take it. I had dffculty breathing after awhile & i got a lil dizzy. The route was blocked & we cldn't go below as we were told there was an eruption 9 months before we arrived. Actually i wanted to go to the other volcano called "Kawah Putih". Unfortunately our driver suggested this place instead which i did not love at all. Oh wells.

The food at Kampung Duan is so delicious i'm actually salivatng thinking bout it now. R & i ordered quite a no. of dishes and the total was about 35SGD. Super worth it!! I wld recommend Kampung Duan for sure! The scenery is nice, weather is cooling & food is mad delicious! Our driver said describes Kampung Duan as a jungle by the waterfall.
Factory outlet shopping
Jalan Riau
There's a entire stretch of factory outlets. Jalan Riau is just the road of one of the shops. As long as u get to one warehouse u're in the factory outlet shopping zone. Just gotta walk ard to find the other outlets which aren't that far apart from each other.
Tbh, i didn't enjoy the shopping experience. There was absolutely nothing tt caught my eye. Every outlet i went into i felt the clothes weren't to my liking & some pretty old looking. R however, bought 2 pair of pants under Burberry. Idk if it's authentic tho. But for guys there're more stuff. For guys, head to Passion if you wanna buy pants/chinois/printed shirts. There's a section inside the store just for jeans & pants.
