DouDou turned 4 on 19th March. Actually idk her actual birth date.. LOL. But in my denfence, i do know tt her birthday falls in March. So i randomly picked a number. LOL. At least i still celebrated her birthday with the twins, mum, Sx & Stussy! Stussy & Sx happened to be staying over. It was a fun-adorable celebration! DouDou was super adorable. Looking at everyone singing her a birthday song & she got grouchy. LOL. Check out the video of us singing her a birthdya song!

Things i did today:

1. Baked 2 Marble cakes for colleagues (My first time doing with help of course!)
2. Got caught in the rain.. But enjoyed the cool breeze very much ^^
3. Was mad angry at my sister for eating a piece of the Marble cake didn't even ask whose it is!! Was super pissed with the fact tt i couldn't do anything since she alr ate it -.- Wanted to ask her to re-bake another one.. Till it occured to me tt she doesn't even know how to cook or bake -.- Was boiling inside man.
   
4. Mini celebration for Sx! ^^
   
5. Cleaned the whole house till it was spick & span! Mopping, sweeping, wiping windows/wooden chest/chairs, polished the floor etc. Literally everything. Lol.

I cut out the number '8' & stuck it on the candle using velcro. LOL.





Sx was so happy & i was shocked by her reaction when she saw the cake. She kept saying the cake very nice & liked the wordings with her name very much. Haha. Didn't expect sucha big reaction. It made me kinda happy though ^^ I feel warm & fuzzy inside when i make others smile!

I got off work early today!! Wohoo! Lol. This only happens like once in a blue moon.

Anyhoos, Justin & Javier came over my place to slack for awhile before i had to head off for work. & Javier has a Blackberry!!! Gaaah! So good right?! Then again, the idea of me getting a new phone(again) is a complete diaster & waste of money. HAHA. Met Stussy after work. Haven't seen tt woman for quite awhile! Missed her so much ^^ She was so cute. Called me when she was home & we talked for awhile. Knowing tt i was still down, she told me a very mean joke to make me laugh. It did make me laugh. LOL. Steph's like a sister to me. I have known her since i was 12 yrs old. She is always looking out for me & treats me like a sister. Even her mum treats me like her daughter! She has def seen me grow up to be what i am today. I thank God for placing her in my life (:

Celebrated Steph's belated birthday with Darren & Jing. We had dinner at my workplace. Baked a cake for her! My manager was really awesome. Kept giving us free food/drinks! Felt so blessed! ^^ We had a great time talking abt things over dinner. My colleagues & manager were really nice man. When they brought out the cake, Steph did not know my manager was standing behind her with a cake. & She started asking what happen as suddenly all my colleagues gathered ard our table. LOL. It was hilarious! Then everyone sang really LOUDLY a birthday song for her (: Anyway, i hope Steph had a ball of a time! (:

The cake!! Does it look nice?? Took me really long to think of ways to decor it.

I attended Sunrice's open house today with my mum. It was awesome! (: I was totally captivated by the school's facilities & presentation. They had 3 different kitchens tt catered to the different cultures. E.g. Chinese, Indian & Western Cuisine. There was a Spice & Herbs tour conducted for us around Fort Canning Park. It was an interesting tour & very informative.

We even had a demo for the specific course we were interested in. There were 3 courses- 1. Culinary arts 2. Baking & Pastry 3. ACP. Initially i chose the 2nd one as tt is where my passion lies. We were seperated into 2 grps according to the course we chose. The head chefs of tt course wld do a demo for us & let us try it out too! On my side, we did cookies! It was really fun! At the end of everything, we got to eat the food tt we cooked/baked. I got to speak to the chef to gain more information before really deciding on the course i am interested in.

I have alr applied for the course. But i chose Diploma in Culinary Arts instead of Baking & Pastry. Baking is something tt can be learned easily, but not for Culinary. If i do get in, i gotta sit for a Math test & go through 3 interviews. They only accept 21 ppl into the Culinary Arts course. It's a really tough competition!

All in all, the organization of the open house was absolutely fantastic! I totally enjoyed it & got to know more on what both courses offer. Just to clear your doubts, i am still going to poly. But if i am accepted into Sunrice, i will drop out of poly & go straight to Sunrice instead. I don't wanna waste my time doing something i ain't interested in. Plus in the cooking industry, they do not look much at your paperwork. What's most important is your working experience, talent & attitude. I wanna start early to build up my working experience in this line so as not to waste any more time than i alr have.

Sent my precious camera for servicing. Thank God it cost $75 & not $400! Can't wait to receive my one & only precious finally-repaired-cammy back into my hands! I miss it alr. Lol.

Anyway, there's a tiny splinter stuck in my thumb -.- Have been trying to dig it out for damn long. Not gonna touch the wooden pizza plate anymore. Working tmr again... Sian. Gonna be damn busy cause it's Friday. Oh well.

Hopefully my weekend will be able to cheer me up.

I have such an exciting news!!! But until it's confirmed, then i will share it with ya'll. It's a dream come true for me! Or maybe too good to be true! Hearing tt awesome piece of news made me smile like crazyyy! This is one miracle i can never thank God enough. Because i trusted him & believed for a breakthrough, he made it happen. This is seriously an awesome opportunity! ^^ Heh.

I have been watching several movies on Funshion to keep my sleepless nights fully occupied..



'Dear john' is a very touching movie! It's about long distance r/s & father-son love. A very very touching movie! I wld give it 4 stars! (:



'Hachi' is a MEGA nice movie! All dog lovers shld watch this movie. It's based on a true story. It's an interesting show. It's abt a dog who waited 9 years for it's owner at a train station even when it's owner was deceased. Very touching movie. 4.5 stars! ^^

CHC'S NEW BUILDING IS GONNA BE AT SUNTEC CITY!! (((((((:

Yay! Nearer to my place compared to expo & Jurong! LOL. Plus the facilities & everything is js awesome. No wait.. It's beyond awesome! The whole congregation were clapping & shouting in joy. Can't wait to move into the new building next year! Gonna be really awesome ^^

Work's been pretty fun lately. Some of them are really nice to me. While some never fails to piss me off. The kitchen crew are really nice ppl! I love working with the ppl i like ^^ Lol. Makes my job easier & much more fun! Steph & her mum dropped by my workplace few days back! Was glad to see em! They were nice to send me home after i ended work too!

Few days ago i met Farna, ShiKin & RAIHANAH for lunch! I typed Rai's name in big letters cause it's been a long time since we all met her. It was great seeing her again & the rest, catching up with each other on stuff.

Babysitted the adult cg last Friday. It was quite an experience! Kinda fun! ^^ I brought my kids bible.. & Now it's pages are in diff places. LOL. Their're all so adorable! I even baked a cake for their cg. Makes me so happy to hear their wonderful compliments on the cake! ^^
