Adelaide Botanical Gardens

Visited the Botanical Gardens & i found it to be quite disappointing. My brother said that it's cause we went during the wrong period and it was winter then. So majority of the flowers had died & there was a part of the garden that was under construction, where they were growing new flowers.

I honestly preferred SG's Botanical Gardens. But yeah, like what my brother said, we went during the wrong timing of the year. I bought oysters from the Adelaide Central Market & a lemon from a veg stall & we ate it at the gardens. We had to quickly slurp up the oysters as there were birds flocking towards us & we were so afraid they'd swoop down to steal our oysters. Hahaha.

We were told this very precious plant only opens once a year for a day. There was a very long queue of people just to see the bloom! Below is a picture i took of the board they put out on the info of the magnificent plant.

Adelaide Central Market

Adelaide Central Market was on my list of things to do in Adelaide. I love visiting food markets & trying out different types of food. I do wish i had more time there tho. Cause my brother was rushing us as we had another place to be. We literally spent merely 10mins walking ard & abt 30mins having our breakfast at a tea bar which has an ahmazingggg collection of teas!!! Loved it!

Adelaide Vineyards

Adelaide is labeled by many as a boring place. But i quite enjoyed by time there. I loved the calmness & slow paced kinda life. Well, most of Australia is pretty much slow paced.. But Adelaide takes the cake!

My brother who has been staying there for several months said that he loves it in Adelaide too. He spends his off days driving up with friends to visit different vineyards, doing wine tasting trying out new cafes/restaurants. So during our short time spent in Adelaide, he brought us to several vineyards which my mum absolutely loved as she is a major wine lover.

The drives up to the different vineyards were pretty scenic too. It'd take an entire day exploring the various vineyards but it's worth it if you do enjoy drinking wine. I don't, so i just tagged along mainly cause i had no choice lol. But i had fun taking lots of photos.

Harvest Kitchen at Artisans of Barossa
Address: Lights Pass Rd, Tanunda SA 5352, Australia

There's a restaurant at Barossa & the food served is really good! After eating you can head for the wine tasting which is located within the restaurant. The wines sold at these vineyards are way cheaper than purchasing from any DFS outlets or at the airport.

Saltram Cellar Door
Address: Murray St, Angaston SA 5353, Australia

There's a restaurant located within Saltram too. I saw the lunch menu but we were too full to order anymore food. So we just settled for desserts & appetizers.
