"Staring at the mess i made,
As you turned, you take your heart & walked away."

Lunch today was VEGETABLES!! -.- Not saying i dislike the taste of veg, in fact, i love veg! Just tt the choice of veg cooked today was nt my fav. Eggplants & Capsicums... EWWW! Had a really hard time forcing it down my throat. Lol.

Anyway, here's the update on The Night Festival. It started from 7pm-2am. It was really crowded & the events were held at several museums/places ard City Hall & Dhouby Gaut. I love the way they displayed the different kinds of art work. It was phenomenal! I enjoyed myself ttm!! Ridzuan accompanied me cause no one else was free on tt day. Lest i'd hv to go on my own. Here are the pictures!! You'll get a clearer pic of what i'm talking abt (:

P.S. I only managed to cover a few museums & the art work as there wasn't enough time to patronize every single event.

Photobucket

First Stop, SAM! The slowest SMS center. LOL. It was really cool though. Anyone could sms a given no. & your message will be displayed widely to the public.

Photobucket

The Abusement Park. The queue was so friggin long i didn't want to waste my time joining in the line. You must be wondering what on earth is an ABUSEMENT & why not an AMUSEMENT.

Photobucket

Cause they literally showcase ABUSEMENT. Hahaha. Here's a pic of a guy "chopping off" someone's head.

Some painting of Chinese Characters? I'm sorry i can't rmbr. Haha. I couldn't tell what the paintings meant for each Chinese Character. Only know tt after painting, they would seal it in a plastic bag for some unknown reason.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Outside Substation- Graffiti.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Another Graffitti wall for the public to "vandalize". Lol.

Photobucket

Some band performing inside the room & those who can't go in stood at the back alley to watch through tt tiny opening. LOL. Super loud-rock-screamo music.

I laughed when i saw this. LOL. Who wld waste $3 on sucha lame poster??!

Photobucket

Wld you purchase this???! I knw i won't. Lol.

Photobucket

Some guy (whom i assume is part of the event), doing some ritual which freaked me out. He acted like he was mad esp when he had a chopper in his hands & he kept scraping it against the road till you can literally see sparks flying out.

Photobucket

Next, Peranakan Museum. Which happens to be beside The Substation.

My mum made one of these shoes before!! It takes a hell lot of patience man. Not an easy task.

Photobucket

You gotta sew the tiny beads onto a canvas sheet before securing it onto the shoe. It is really tedious & if you do not hv good eyesight, good luck to you man.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

They even allowed you to touch the artwork, which is super rare! LOL.

Outside the National Musuem of S'pore- The Paraboles 2.0! This was the highlight of the night! Started at 12am.

Photobucket

6 Giant satellite dishes stretching out to the sky, absorbing the sound of space & cosmic data, ignoring all activities on Earth. Under each satellite, faint abstract sounds of the music of the stars, solar winds & radio waves are all being mixed tgth.

Photobucket

The fun begun after 5 mins of nothing but the sound of radio waves which bored me & js when i was abt to leave, this came up. Followed by several other designs.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Stars!

Photobucket

My fav of the lot!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Look at the massive crowd!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Then it came up agn. At this point, Ridzuan was pestering me to go cause he was bored until he started laughing -.- He said the "fishes" looks like sperms -.- Plus the "fishes" were chasing an egg. LOL.

Photobucket

A dancer dancing infront of one of the Satellite dishes where at one part they showcased her dancing onto the Satellite dish as a shadow dance. Really cool! Each satellite dish had a musician & the music was friggin good!

Photobucket

Can you see the dancer in the Red circle i drew?

Photobucket

The finale of the performance, the dancer was dancing on a ball tt was raised high up right in front of the satellite dish whilst it was moving back & forth repeatedly! Tt was damn cool ttm! Have no idea how she did it man.

Photobucket

Showcase of Muay Thai.

Photobucket

They had various boards to indicate the event & timing. The organisation's really good to provide such information when they alr gave everyone a notebook on the events & a fan cause it was friggin hot!

Tt's all! Hope you managed to get a glimpse of what happened at The Night Festival!
