Flea @ Homeclub!

Last month i booked a booth at a flea at Homeclub w Rai, Zuby & R! Rly wanna sell away all my clothes. There weren't much customers though. Sad. I think it's best to have a flea at Scape. Cause it's convenient plus every weekend there are booths permanently there. So far of the 3 fleas i have participated in, Scape is the BEST location to sell your clothes.

I love my blouse which i purchased from an online store. Can't rmbr which one. But it's a chiffon vest which can be worn as a dress too. Which i did & i love the prints & of course, the colour! (:

Scoops & Slices!

I stumbled upon a new eatery at Novena & i swear the ice cream & waffles at Scoops & Slices are to die for! The portion of their ice cream given it pretty huge comparing it to the other places i've eaten. Also, their waffles are not hard where it pains ur gums to chew on it! It's crispy & super yummy!

The one ice cream flavour they had tt i've nvr seen before wld be the "Guinness Stout Choc" ice cream! It's prolly their best seller cause it was abt to be sold out! I tried their Earl Grey & Bailey's ice cream! SUPER YUMS!

P.S. I know the location doesn't sound like it's at Novena, but it is! Alight at Novena & walk to United Sq. When u come out of the United Sq escalator, turn RIGHT! If yknow where burger king is, its right beside it!





A waffle & 2 scoops of delicious ice cream for js $8.20! It's super worth it!

Trust me, it's a rly awesome place tt serves delicious ice cream & waffles! ^^

Stussy!

Met up w Stacy few weeks ago. Can't rmbr when. Hahaha. We had dinner tgth at Bishan & movie before tt! Watched 'The Lucky One'. Every single time we watch movies tgth, as long as there is a kissing scene, she wld cover my eyes & giggle! I always tell her she wasting my money for doing tt! Lol!

Ice cream machine

If u've been following me on twitter or instagram, then u'll prolly know what i'm gna say js by looking at the photos below. Hehe (:

Anw, the highlight of the month wld be tt R purchased an Ice Cream machine for me! (: I have been yearning to own one so tt i cld make all sorts of ice cream flavours. I even told him a couple of times occasionally over the years tt i wish i had an ice cream machine. Then when i started working full time, i said i'll save up my money to buy one! Funniest thing is tt out of the blue, i started talking abt it agn. W/o knowing he'd alr got me one & was waiting for the right moment to pass it to me.

& Man i gotta give it up to him! The box was super huge man! & He hid it ouside my house(which was quite risky) before fetching me frm work. He came into my house tt day for a short while & tt very day, idk why i stopped right at my fish tank to admire the fishes -__- HAHAHA HE IS JS DAMN LUCKY LOR! Uusally i wld close the door bhind him. JUST THAT DAY, I DIDN'T! & He was damn quick to hurry grab the hugeass box & hid it at a corner which i didnt see cause my house is SUPER DARK w/o the lights switched on!

He told me he dropped a "SMALL TANGS BOX" otw to my room. I was thinking "Tangs box?" I was searching for a small box! HAHAHA. Until i saw a huge box & switched on the lights & saw the word "Tangs' printed all over the box. I stood there stunned, for a good 2 mins thinking. I am damn slow i know. I ran to the room to ask him & he smiled.. I SWEAR I WAS DAMN HAPPY I ALR KNEW IT WAS AN ICE CREAM MACHINE FOR SURE! From Tangs confirm is an ice cream machine!

I WAS & AM STILL DAMN HAPPY TT R GOT ME AN ICE CREAM MACHINE! I CAN TRY OUT ALL SORTS OF FLAVOURS ALR! WOOHOOOOO! (((:





I alr made my very first ice cream, 'Peanut butter' flavour! It was a success! :D Taste so yummy!

Can't wait to try out the other flavours! ^^

R's sis wedding.

I attended R's sister's wedding last Sat & so, i was up from 9am till 10.30pm. I was dead beat! Still, it was kind of an interesting experience & an eye opener for me. I have only been to a Malay wedding once & i only rmbr eating. Hahaha.

Kai & i were the photographers & i also helped to record impt parts of the wedding ceremony. Of course, R helped me video most of it as i can't possibly be taking photos & video record at the same time. His sister was so pretty! Like people always say, "The bride always looks the prettiest on her wedding day!" So true, yes? (: 

I perspired ALOT! Gawd.. It was super warm plus there weren't any fans. Srsly, my whole back was wet. & I ain't exaggerating. Played w R's lil cousin who is mad adorable & he kept addressing me as "Kak', which means sister. SO CUTE! Super hyper kid.

Anw, here's what i wore to the wedding. I wore the Malay Baju Kurung instead just for the fun of it. Borrowed from Rai. Obviously if i was gna wear one, why not choose my fav colour! Haha. Actually i nvr thought of wearing it. Not used to it & i felt weird? However, R thinks otherwise. Hehe (:





This boy is soo cute!!! He kept me entertained when i was bored. Hahaha.

Turi Beach Video Clip!

I put tgth a short 2mins plus video on my stay at Turi Beach Resort! This wld give ya'll better visuals on my description of the resort in my previous post (: I hope this video helps a lil!

Turi Beach

R & I went on a short get away to relax at Turi Beach & it was definitely put to good use! (: Last yr we stayed at Nongsapura resort which u can read all abt it here!

There wasn't rly much to do there other than swim, lay in the sun, massage & if you are willing to fork out extra cash for cab fares, u can walk ard the shopping malls. Which i felt was a waste of time & money cause the malls were kinda quiet.

Comparing my stay last yr at Nongsapura & Turi beach resort, overall Turi beach was better in terms of the amt of activities u cld do there. They had a pool snack bar where u cld eat & chill IN the pool! Tt's pretty awesome! The resort's bigger & the scenery is nicer.
As for Nongsapura resort, the rooms were wayyy better than Turi beach! Beds were so clean & comfy! The best bed i've ever slept in till date! Turi beach resort has 2 kind of rooms- 1 is called the 'Riani Deluxe'(which i stayed). It's a traditional Balinese room built in a badly air conditioned hut. The bed was sandy & it smelt so bad i had rashes all over the next day! It was horrible! Even R had rashes! I wld nt recommend staying in the Riani Deluxe. STAY IN THE OTHER ONE! Idk what its called though. I was told it's "hotel styled". More modern. I'm assuming its much cleaner? It better be since the price is higher.

So yes, my only complaints abt Turi beach wld be the horrible room i stayed in. I rly hated the stench & sandy bed! Ugh. Caused me rashes all over for 5 days! It wasnt pleasant at all!
Other than tt, everything else like the pool & food was alright! (:

We arrived at the resort a little too early before the check in. So we decided to cab to the shopping malls which was a 30-40min drive. We chanced upon a massage place & we came out satisfied! (:














Across the bridge is a place for people to eat Satay where they bbq for u on the spot. & To enjoy the beautiful sunset! (:


The resort has a dinner buffet for 27+ per person. I didn't try the food but from the looks of it, it looked pretty delicious.



Breakfast was very asian style.




Batam is best for a 2D1N stay & not more! If nt u wld be bored to death!
